Blast from the Past: Barney - Sila Paniker
While looking through the news to find something to write about, I came across an article that caught my attention. "Daniel Kaluuya to produce live-action Barney the Dinosaur movie" His First Movie (1998) At first, I only clicked because it made me laugh but then it made me think. What happened to Barney? He played a huge role in so many childhoods. Toddlers loved him. But then they grew up and went to elementary school. I distinctly remember the chants I'd hear (and probably participate in) on the playground. In those, Barney was portrayed as a scary purple monster. There were also rumors of Barney being arrested at one point. Then our unexplained hate for Barney was no longer relevant and we all forgot about him. So when I saw this article, I got curious.
