When I scroll through the blogposts this month it is filled with stories about the COVID-19 which is incredibly depressing. Not just the stories but how everyone is stuck at home isolated from their friends. So I decided to find some fun/odd stories that show what people are doing with their newly found freetime in the wake or quarantine. Growing up most kids favorite game to play on their tablet was Subway Surfers maybe it still is the game is a classic. Some people may try to imagine what it woud be like to run around dodging and jumping onto moving trains. Well a man in New York City in the Bronx decided to give this a try when he took social distancing to the next level by holding onto the side of a subwar car while it was moving full speed ahead. Guess what guys??? It's Creative Writing month!! (Woot woot!) Guess what else it is? ... almost winter... (this I'm not as excited about.) And what better way to commemorate the oncoming of winter than with a poem about summer? (I'm a genius, I know.) Now, for my past two posts, I've already done some form of creative writing—a poem, a short story—but because it's Creative Writing month, I've now got a reason to go all out! So, I'm not doing any ordinary poem this time, no, no, no. "Summer" is a spoken word poem, which is basically just a poem that is made to be performed aloud.
