As we near the holidays, we begin constructing our "Christmas list" that we will soon be sending off to "Santa," otherwise known as our parents. Christmas typically surrounds the time when we both give and receive and over the past 10 years what we have been giving and receiving has changed drastically. So here are the top gifts of 2009 vs now, 2019. Christmas 2009... let's go back in time for a moment. Back in 2009, most of us were either 5 or 6 and most of us just wanted dolls and trucks. What some kids were putting on our Christmas lists was the Nintendo Wii. The Nintendo Wii came out in 2009 and was a big hit! The gaming system sold 10 million units by the end of 2009, many of them being purchased during the holiday season. Now, for the younger kids out there, they all wanted Zhu Zhu pets.
