Why I Sometimes Don't Like School: By Matt Bouma-Hannam
School. A daily climb of Mount Everest. The days are long; the work is plentiful. On occasion, we hide from terrorists; we are taught that this is acceptable. W e learn — w e study, although will it last? Dates, formulas, it is all forgotten; retention seems like a thing of the past. Information in my bra in gone rotten. RING! The alarm shouts; it is 6 a.m.! Sleep deprived but I still head off to school. I have a test? No! I lost so much R.E.M.! I was up doing homework, life is cruel. Despite my love for learning, I admit, sometimes it would be easier to quit.
