Can vaping really kill you?-Jack Ginsberg
Many large vaping corporations are coming under fire after many deaths thought to be linked to vaping, however vaping may not be the sole cause of these deaths. A large amount of evidence suggests that these deaths are a result of a combination of factors including using fake THC cartridges. These cartridges can have carcinogens and harmful distillates within them. Carcinogens are harmful chemicals like copper and benzene that can cause cancer.
In over half of the reported cases of death via vaping the subject also used THC cartridges. This raises the question of why the mainstream media only covers the vaping. I think the media is using these deaths to fuel propaganda against vaping. The rolling stone says "In many cases patients had reported using THC products". The rolling stone is one of few news sources that acknowledge the fact that THC was involved. I believe the reason so much media ignores THC's involvement in these is because banning vaping is very popular in the US right now among the media and politicians. This means by blaming these deaths solely on vaping people can push for the banning of E-cigarettes which has already happened in Washington and will most likely happen in other states in the coming months.

ReplyDeleteVaping is still relatively new to us and we still cannot predict whats to come. Over time, the same thing was happening with cigarettes and while we know a lot of symptoms that cigarettes cause, there was a time where we barely knew anything and that is currently the case for these vapes. We are back in the 80s and don't know that doing these things impacts our lives.
