The key to having a good childhood is having an awesome and trustworthy sibling. I love my brother no matter how annoying he is because we talk and we trust each other. If it weren't for him, I would have been in trouble with our parents way more times then I already have been.  He backs me up when barging with our parents to keep the internet on or just stupid things like candy. Even if he doesn't agree he goes with it because he knows I would do the same or him, and it ends up benefitting him anyway.
This week be got my dad's old iPhone X while I have the 7 that I paid for half myself. I let it slide and backed him up because there will be a day when I need something and he will have to deal with it. He has witnessed me doing stupid things with my friends and he just takes it all in and laughs knowing I would do the same for him. I know it seems like we just blackmail each other all the time, which we do but every once in a while we come together and just spill the tea. He is like having a sister who steals my hoodies and my slides because he thinks they look better on him. So he wears them, destroys them and makes it smell, then blames me.
Despite how much we yell at each other he is my built-in best friend for life. I can't wait until we are older and more mature to appreciate the relationship we have because friends will leave but I am his family so he is kinda stuck with me.

          When I contemplate what is most important in my life, my mind is drawn to my 21-year-old brother, Tom. There are not enough words in the English language I could use to describe what he means to me. I cannot imagine the past fifteen years of my life without him. Allow me to start from the beginning.           Even when I was an infant, he never failed to take me out of my crib, strap me in my high chair, and cook scrambled eggs for us (at the tender age of six). Not Fate, Just a Coincidence - Sila Paniker

The idea of fate confuses me. I don't really understand how something will happen no matter what you do. It just seems very unlikely. I think we're constantly making choices that lead to occurrences. We make so many decisions a day that it seems impossible that fate can find a way around it all.  Awhile ago, I saw something called the Butterfly Effect, which doesn't exactly relate to fate but it makes sense to me. The idea is that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a tornado on the other side of the world. Essentially, small changes can have large impacts. In my head, this connects with the thousands of tiny decisions we subconsciously make each day. There are people I've met or things that have happened and it feels like it was meant to be but they're just a bunch of coincidences that had the ability to change everything.
