Some Fun things to Pass the Time in Quarantine- April- Brianna Burns
So who would have thought we would be here. In a world where we are couped up in our houses all day long, and taking a trip to the grocery store is the highlight of our day. Some, including myself, thought, "oh, this can't be too bad." Well, now the boredom is finally hitting me, and I am finding myself asking, what should I do? Well, here are some things that we could be doing while spending our time at home in Quarantine...
1. Exercise
Well now you don't have the excuse to say, I don't have time! So move your body. It's one of the best things you could do for yourself and your body. mindlessly eat? Well now burn off those excess calories. Here are some good workouts you can do...
- Go for a run or walk.
Bring along your siblings and take a stroll around the neighborhood or even challenge them to a race, to make it more exciting!
- HIIT
The new way to exercise. Fast, intense, and my favorite... SHORT! learn more about HIIT workouts here, https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2019/1/10/18148463/high-intensity-interval-training-hiit-orangetheory
2. Watch a movie

- This is something that is sooooooooo important. Some of us don't do this enough, and whatever self-care means to you, implement it into your new routine.

4. Spend time with family
- This is probably the most significant one. Taking the time to interact with your loved ones is something that we just take for granted.
There are plenty more that you can do during this confusing time, but these were some of my personal favorites.

Thanks for these ideas! I agree that family time is really important and I'm glad I have to opportunity to be with my family all day.
ReplyDeleteI love that you included links! I think it's also a great idea to make a note on your phone of things you want to or should do while we're home and then you can check it off as you go! I had a list of "spring cleaning" stuff I made to do over break and I've been checking it off little by little and it feels good! Exercise - So good!
