Those Couple of Times: Joe Byrnes

I can't remember that last time I wrote a poem, so I decided to try one out...

There are those days where you feel like nothing will matter,
and all you feel is alone.
It is so dismal when all you hope for is some chitter-chatter.

There are those times where alone is no longer felt,
but they always find a way to return.
When they vanish right from thin air, with that it cannot be dealt.

Once the realization of loneliness strikes, your body melts with sickening warmth.
All that you can implore is the simple question of "Why?"
You then start to wonder if you did something wrong and if you will feel like this from this point forth.

Anger starts to swarm your mind and all you can do is pout.
Inside and out you are not the same.
For it is causing you the want to shout.

When loneliness relieves you of your burden,
you are now filled to the brim with pure joy.
This feeling is too great that you are no longer hurting.

The joy has quickly dissipated, for the chitter-chatter is out.
You can't believe the way it just left.
You must remember it is only there for those couple of times, but it seems like theft.
Again you start to question and all you can do is pout.
