Netflix Shows Review By Shaelin Murphy

Without school, I’ve had a lot more free time. To pass the time, I’ve watched a lot of shows on Netflix. I decided to write about some incase anyone is looking for something good to watch. 
The Office: The Office is my favorite show ever. I really believe that it is the best show to have ever been created in the history of TV shows. It’s about life at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, a regular paper company. When I describe the show, it sounds kind of boring, but it’s not at all. Each of the characters brings something different, and all together it is SO funny. I can’t even express how much I love The Office and I think that everyone needs to watch it. 
The Office' Producers' New Work-From-Home Show - Simplemost

Mindhunter: This show is about two FBI agents, Holden and Bill, who interview people who are in prison for murders and try to figure out what made them commit the crimes. They also get called in to solve murders. This show is super interesting and you are always trying to figure out who did it. The murderers that they interview are based on real people which I thought was pretty cool. There is also a pretty big twist that happens in one of the agent’s personal lives which adds even more to the show. I definitely recommend it.

Limitless: This show is about an average guy, Brian Finch, who finds a way to become immune to a powerful drug, NZT. NZT allows people to use 100% of their brain, which made Brian extremely smart. He could figure out anything and do things that seemed impossible. Other people who used NZT suffered extreme side effects that even led to death, but Brian did not, so when the FBI found out, they decided to use him to help them solve problems. This show was interesting because it was different from anything else I had seen, but it was really good. It was also super funny because all of the FBI agents were so serious but Brian was funny and made jokes where he probably shouldn’t have. I recommend this show to everyone!

If I Hadn’t Met You: This show was really unique and the ending was such a twist, it was really good. This is about a man who loses his wife and kids in a car accident and he becomes extremely depressed about it. Then, he met a woman who showed him that he can travel to other universes that are slightly different than the one they were in. It was really weird to see how one small decision that someone made their life so different in each universe. The beginning of this show was pretty sad, but as it went on, it got better and led to a shocking ending. I think that everyone should give it a try.

Overall, these shows are all great and I think that everyone should try them out if they are looking for something to watch!

    I'm glad someone did a Netflix show recommendation because I have binged so many shows that I don't know what else to watch.

          When I contemplate what is most important in my life, my mind is drawn to my 21-year-old brother, Tom. There are not enough words in the English language I could use to describe what he means to me. I cannot imagine the past fifteen years of my life without him. Allow me to start from the beginning.           Even when I was an infant, he never failed to take me out of my crib, strap me in my high chair, and cook scrambled eggs for us (at the tender age of six). Not Fate, Just a Coincidence - Sila Paniker

The idea of fate confuses me. I don't really understand how something will happen no matter what you do. It just seems very unlikely. I think we're constantly making choices that lead to occurrences. We make so many decisions a day that it seems impossible that fate can find a way around it all.  Awhile ago, I saw something called the Butterfly Effect, which doesn't exactly relate to fate but it makes sense to me. The idea is that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a tornado on the other side of the world. Essentially, small changes can have large impacts. In my head, this connects with the thousands of tiny decisions we subconsciously make each day. There are people I've met or things that have happened and it feels like it was meant to be but they're just a bunch of coincidences that had the ability to change everything.
