Ever since the year 2016, where Donald J. Trump became President of the United States, there have been countless attempts to impeach him. Some accusations are obvious lies and fibs, but others have evidence that could appear incriminating. However, Recently there has been an uprising in trump impeachment actions taken during the last year and a half of his presidency

Trump has been a topic of controversy for years. With countless accusations, threats, and impeachment attempts. However, on the other end of the spectrum, there are people who love trump more than life itself. One of the reasons so many Americans feel so poorly about trump is his actions since obtaining a presidential position. Trumps treatment towards immigrants is often viewed as unconstitutional. The constitution has a rule against presidents accepting gifts from others to ensure they are not swayed by bribes and such. Trump has accepted multiple gifts since his presidency. While these offences are small, the reaction from the public is catastrophic. This is actually one of the main arguments Anti Trump supporters use.

Trump's impeachment is currently being carried out in a non-traditional presidential impeachment format. Typically, the republicans and democrats have to take a vote between all of them and decide whether or not it is for the best to impeach Trump. However, this is not what is happening in this case. With democrats making up most of the house of representatives, the democratic party alone is proceeding without acknowledging the republicans. While the impeachment of Trump has a sturdy foundation and solid accusations, Democrats are not approaching this correctly. Image result for donald trump

  1. This is interesting.... Although the Democrats are pushing impeachment, there are Republicans that are, too, trying to proceed with as little opposition from the Democrats. It is quite sad, honestly, as they should be working together. But I don't think you can say that it is just the Democrats who are not approaching this correctly. Yes, Democrats are the majority in the House of Representatives, however, the Senate is mostly Republican, and, in order for impeachment to occur, the Senate has to agree as well. The Democrats cannot "proceed without acknowledging the republicans."

  2. A good choice for a topic as it's in the news all the time.

  3. I agree with you as to it seems very illogical to try and impeach the president this close to the end of his term. I know that people have been trying to impeach him for a while, then a stand still, and now that he's about to be done... P.s. I like the photo :)
