Linking 200,000 bras together to break Guinness world record?- Brianna Patrickio

I was looking threw current events and I saw this very interesting one for breast cancer awareness. And of course I support the cause but this particular person was raising awareness by breaking the Guinness world record for the most bras linked together. Which in my opinion is incredibly wasteful, they collected over 200,000 bras to link together and all were donated to the cause. But those bras could have been given to goodwill and women's shelter where they would be benefitting so many women. Bras are so expensive these days and you only really donate a bra if they are in good condition or not used at all. In most cases, you use a bra until it breaks because it is so expressive the give new ones which means that bra got thrown out.
Even if they were to donate all those bras to goodwill after they broke the world record it would be unsanitary seeing that in the video they are laying on the ground. And I still don't understand how this is supporting breast cancer, they don't seem to be making any money for this that can be donated to the cause.

          When I contemplate what is most important in my life, my mind is drawn to my 21-year-old brother, Tom. There are not enough words in the English language I could use to describe what he means to me. I cannot imagine the past fifteen years of my life without him. Not Fate, Just a Coincidence - Sila Paniker

The idea of fate confuses me. I don't really understand how something will happen no matter what you do. It just seems very unlikely. I think we're constantly making choices that lead to occurrences. We make so many decisions a day that it seems impossible that fate can find a way around it all.  Awhile ago, I saw something called the Butterfly Effect, which doesn't exactly relate to fate but it makes sense to me. The idea is that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a tornado on the other side of the world. Essentially, small changes can have large impacts. In my head, this connects with the thousands of tiny decisions we subconsciously make each day.
