For a few decades Area 51 has been in the middle of alien conspiracy theories. But no one ever did anything about these theories, as no single person was about to casually go and storm a military base.

This started out as a twitter joke when someone said "they cant stop us all" regarding discovering aliens in Area 51. This joke got some laughs and then gained some popularity. Soon the area 51 joke was everywhere, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.

People began to seriously say they were going to the raid and the government began to take precautions. The military responded to the event saying force will be used if anyone enters the base, and if people attempt to enter the base arrests will be made.

As September 20th rolled around people actually came out to the middle of nowhere. One lady actually walked into the base. But she ended up getting briefly detained. A bunch of people actually came out but no one stormed the base.

What started out as just a joke turned into a popular trip into the middle of Nevada.

    I was hoping someone would walk out of area 51 with an alien or two.

          When I contemplate what is most important in my life, my mind is drawn to my 21-year-old brother, Tom. There are not enough words in the English language I could use to describe what he means to me. I cannot imagine the past fifteen years of my life without him. Not Fate, Just a Coincidence - Sila Paniker

The idea of fate confuses me. I don't really understand how something will happen no matter what you do. It just seems very unlikely. I think we're constantly making choices that lead to occurrences. We make so many decisions a day that it seems impossible that fate can find a way around it all.  Awhile ago, I saw something called the Butterfly Effect, which doesn't exactly relate to fate but it makes sense to me. The idea is that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a tornado on the other side of the world. Essentially, small changes can have large impacts. In my head, this connects with the thousands of tiny decisions we subconsciously make each day. There are people I've met or things that have happened and it feels like it was meant to be but they're just a bunch of coincidences that had the ability to change everything.
