Disney By Olivia Ekeland

Disney is one of my top 3 things that are important to me (the other two are my friends/family and my relationship with God). I am one of the biggest Disney nerds you will ever meet due to my obsession with the movies (even though they are very cliche) and the theme park (I’m talking about World, not Land). Every year I get asked the same question, “doesn’t it get boring going to Disney all the time?” and my answer is, and always will be, no. Each Disney trip brings back different memories and different life lessons like, if a lifeguard tells you to walk, then walk (I learned that the hard way, I think I still have a scar). It is not only the memories that make Disney so much fun but its also the people I am with. My cousins, even though most of them are much older than me, make Disney unforgettable and never cease to put a smile on my face while waiting in line for hours for the Tower of Terror or Toy Story. We actually have a family tradition where we always have to play "Heads Up" while waiting to go on the Dinosaur ride in the Animal Kingdom. Seeing everyone genuinely happy after a rough couple of months of school just warms my heart. What makes things even better is that my nana records everything that happens in Disney so I always have an opportunity to reminisce any of the Disney Trips. To summarize, Disney holds a very special place in my heart.
This was the most recent Disney trip with half of my family.

  1. Wow! I, myself, am not a Disney fan but I can see how the circumstances of your trips can affect this. Family is vital to any trip and with good times it strengthens the bond. It's so great that your family can all bond over a thing like this!

  2. That looks like so much fun! I went once when I was little but I remember there were so so many things to do!

  3. I never really cared about Disney, but was there last summer and it was an amazing trip and now we can't wait to go back!
