Gilmore Girls - Hayley Ouimette

My favorite show ever to watch is Gilmore Girls. I've watched the entire show last year and I started it again a couple months ago. There are many reasons why it's the best show ever, but the main one is that you end up wanting to be in the show. Yes, this is common for almost every show, but Gilmore Girls is different. It's not the most action-packed or exciting show ever but it's comforting. The show is about a mom, Lorelai, and her daughter, Rory, in which she had at 16. They are grown up now, Rory being in highschool and Lorelai running an Inn. They live in a super small town called Stars Hallow where they can walk anywhere, the store, each other's houses, movies, etc. Everyone knows each other and they all care for each other and are nice. Rory's best friend is Lane, and they have been best friends since forever, nothing could tear them apart. They went to the same school but Rory's grandparents paid for her to go to Chilton because for her whole life has always wanted to get into Harvard, this school would make that possible. To repay her grandparents, she and Lorelai have to have Friday night dinners with them every week. Rory has a long steady relationship with Dean and you fall in love with him. Lorelai is trying to find a husband and father for Rory but so far nothing has worked out. One person you get to know well is Luke, the diner owner. He's close to the girls and his nephew Jess has just come to town. He is the "bad boy" that stirs up trouble in this quiet town. If I say anymore the show will be spoiled because although this is a cute small town, a lot happens with friends, relationships, drama, everything. This show is an escape from reality, a world I wish I lived in. There's no cell phones, just pagers, and home lines. My mom and I sometimes watch it together and we both say how much we want to live in a town like that, it's just so much better than our chaotic and stressful lives now. Image result for gilmore girls

  1. Gilmore Girls is amazing! I think the small town part of it is why so many people have loved it over the years. It just looks like a dream.
