Top 5 Countries to Visit in Your Life
Robby Cerra Top 5 Places to Visit in Your Life 2-12-20
So, I've been to some foreign countries, which is a lot more than most people can say, and although I'm very grateful for that, I'd like to visit more countries. Cutting to the chase, I put together a top 5 list of some SICK places for people, (and me) to visit and take in the scenery.
5.) At number five, although cliche, it had to be the Bahamas. Really, the only reason that it isn't closer to number 1, is because of how popular it is of a vacation choice. Nevertheless, the Bahama Islands, preferably Nassau, are open for tourists. Along with the clear waters, the massive resorts built up just for travelers, like me and you. It's literally a specially built experience for the most fun and activities, how can it not be on this top 5 list??

Warwick Resort Hotel, Bahama Islands, Nassau.
4.) Lauterbrunnen, meaning "clear spring" in German, is a beautiful quaint village high in the swiss alps. This town, although minute, with only a population of 2,500 residents, has everyone aching to travel here. Placed right below a 300m waterfall, surrounded by accompanying mountains, this village is straight out of a fairytale. The picture below may smell like sauerkraut, kinda just gives off the vibe.
The center of Lauter Brunnen, at the foot of the Swiss Alps.
3.) Now into the top three, these places have to be mesmerizing, I'm talking breath-taking. Rome, Italy, one of the oldest cities known to mankind, and if you are a history lover, inhabited by the great renaissance men. Not only does Rome have magnificent fountains, and perfectly preserved monuments, the age-old-like aura around the city is simply captivating. Now, this is one of the cities I have traveled to, and without a doubt, my experience is what put it on this list, although, it was an incredible city to visit and be a part of. P.S. It had the best gelato I've ever eaten. EVER.
The Trevi Fountain, or Fontana di Trevi, Rome, Italy.
2.) The runner-up, the Capital of Iceland. Reykjavik is a colorful city, based upon the crisp ocean. Like place #4, Lauterbrunnen, Reykjavik is also surrounded by mountains, though instead of green and rocky, the mountains here look like deep blue ice. With the variety of hues in the city and magnificent blue of the mountains, the scene is so heavily contrasted it feels literally out of this world. Now, obviously, I'm not this moved by the city simply because of the description I've read on it online. Will Hannam was my country expert source for this placement, and out of the 19 countries he's been to, Italy, England, Sardinia, etc. he believed that Reykjavik, Iceland was the best place he's ever been to. I mean, c'mon he complimented the place to the point where he was talking about how good their water was.
1.) The winner, the place that I think everyone would want to go, that is if they've ever heard about it. Santorini, Greece. A magnificent scene of beautiful white clay houses shine back at your eyes during the morning sunrise, and almost glow in the dark after dusk. The seclusiveness also adds to the vibe of this City as well. Based almost 120 miles from Greece's mainland, this Island is only accompanied by other isles for miles upon miles. Along with the isles, is the deep blue Mediterranean sea, so as expected, all seafood restaurants are absolutely killing it on yelp. Though I believe that the history of the island itself is just as interesting as the things on the Island. In the 16th century, the island's terrain was destroyed by a volcanic eruption, which caused a unique mountainous island that tourists see today. Although the island's mountains were almost inhabitable, Greek residents still inhabited it. Placing the city high in the mountains, looking over at the Mediterranean. Seriously, this place looks perfect, literally everything down to the cleanliness of the houses.
I definitely want to visit all of these places... if I can afford it. Very enjoyable read.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading this. I have to say, I would really love to go Rome.
ReplyDeleteI love the Bahamas it sucks that right now a lot of homes and properties are destroyed after the storm. My grandpa has a home in the Bahamas and its destroyed along with every house around it.
ReplyDeleteI loved reading this blog. It makes me want to go to every one of these places because your description of these beautiful places was fantastic. I hope that one day I could go to one of these places, but it is probably very expensive so we'll see. Good job!
