Nothing by Conner Healy
There is absolutely no sports to watch, and it sucks. All the major sports teams have either suspended, postponed, and some have even gone as far as cancelling this years play for their league because of the one and only covid-19. The NBA suspended their season and hope to return to play by mid to late June. The NCAA has cancelled all spring sports including March Madness. The MLB suspended their season and hopes to return some point in June. The Olympics have even been moved to next summer as well. Major sports TV stations like ESPN have nothing to report on and have nothing to show on TV because there is nothing for them to show. At first these sporting events were to play without fans in the stadium for example, the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets played a game in San Francisco without any fans in the stands. This situation has presented a challenge to league owners as they try to find a way to fit all of their games when this whole thing is over. The MLB has it the worst as they play the most games out of all sports leagues with 162 games per season plus playoffs. There have been rumors that teams will possibly play at least one double header per week, but this is not good for players as this will most likely result in lots of injuries around the league. Another problem that is presented is what if a northern team like the Yankees make it to the world series which will most likely take place in November or December. A team like the Yankees can't play games in New York that time of the year because it will be too cold for them to play. There have been rumors saying that in worst case scenario they could play in an indoor stadium like the Miami Marlins or the Tampa Bay Rays because weather isn't an issue when playing inside. With all the negative things going around there have been many professional athletes donating money to support workers that work at their home stadium or arena and are out of work because of the virus. Athletes like Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans is covering the Smoothie King Center (where the Pelicans play) staffs salary for the next 30 days, Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers has also donated $100,000 to the staff of Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse (where the Cavaliers play) because of this. This whole situation sucks and hopefully we can get back to normal soon not just in the sports world but everywhere else as well.

As a sports fan, it must be really crazy to not have anything to watch. Mr. Kopp has taken to watching old games that they are showing.
