Positive and Happy News- Liv Romano

With the coronavirus outbreak, life has been tough, different, and lonely. However, instead of focusing on the negative, I decided to write my blog on positive things going on in the world. Hopefully, this can take your mind off things and inspire you to help others amid this difficult time.
So, here are some positive current events:

He was named "Hero of the Day," after brightening the spirits of those he visited. Also, there is no evidence that dogs can contract the coronavirus, making it safe for him to visit the elderly. Some of the elderly even made signs to express how much they love and missed Tonka. The visit was a success and Tonka made everyone smile. It was a great day at the nursing home in Cedar Park, Texas.
Bob Shellard marked his wedding anniversary with a special sign outside his wife's nursing home.   2. Bob Shellard was separated from his wife, Nancy Shellard, on their 67th wedding anniversary due to the coronavirus. He was unable to go to the nursing home she was staying at because of the virus. To fix this problem, Bob made a sign that said "I've loved you 67 years and still do. Happy Anniversary." He spent a week creating the poster and attached a bouquet of balloons. He stood outside her nursing home window and showed her the sign. It was truly a romantic day for the couple!

   3. With the outbreak, it is suggested that people stay home so that they can't spread or pick up the coronavirus. This means people are unable to go to work and school, which makes it very difficult to make money. Because of this, landlord, Nathan Nichols, will not be accepting rent payments until further notice. He said he wants "to ease a little bit." He has been called a "hero" by people who are currently struggling to pay rent. We need more people like him in the world!

Amid the stress and chaos in the world, people are still helping and being kind to each other, which is inspiring. Hopefully, we get through this rough time as soon as possible! I hope this cheered you up and helped you focus on the positive!
