The Largest Car Crash I Have Ever Heard of by Connor Ailara
Earlier this month the there were two colossal crashes in Wyoming that amounted to around 100 vehicles being involved. The crashes were only about three miles apart, one near mile marker 181 and one near 184. As a result of the crashes there were three fatalities and thirty injured. Deputies believe that the reason this crash occurred was because of a wet snow and then a drop in temperature that had occurred earlier. These events lead to a lot of ice forming on the road, which caused unsafe driving conditions. In response, the road has been closed causing a huge disruption in travel.
The reason I chose to write about this article is because this the largest crash that I have ever heard of. Even though it is technically two separate crashes, each crash would have to involve about 50 cars. Considering I have only seen two car crashes one hundred vehicles including tractor trailers seems to large to be true.

This is the image from the article I read and I believe it is the only one that truly describes the incident. It clearly shows that there were several tractor trailers involved and some were even lifted into the air.
