Coronavirus Relief Fund, Please Read!! - Chris Byrnes

My friend Georgia and I started a coronavirus relief fund. We want to help those in need during this unprecedented time and, so, we made a gofundme page. All proceeds will go toward a local charity for those in need. We'd be very grateful if you donate. Anything helps even if it's only something as small as $1.

Here's the gofundme link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/musicforcorona?utm_medium=social&utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=p_na+share-sheet

What YOU can do to help:

1. Donate money. It can big or small, any donation truly helps. Thank you, in advance, if you do donate.

2. Spread the word. Use Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, text family, and friends, etc... The more people who hear about it, the higher chances of getting more donations for the charity, and the more people we can help.

  • If you have any public social media accounts (i.e. Instagram), use hashtags to reach more people. Try to use as many as you can (Instagram allows a max of 30 hashtags).

For updates in the near future, just check @_classical_music_fanpage_ on Instagram. In 8th grade, we did a gofundme and raised almost $500 for the middle school orchestra at only 300 followers. Now, with almost 10k followers (9.6k right now, so close!), we expect to raise a lot more and are psyched to see the results and help a lot more people in need. I think it's great we can bring people together via music but now, it's important to bring together for a different cause.

We're gonna get through this. I guarantee that it will end. Yet, it's important we don't leave behind others when it does though.

*also, creds to Georgia for making the photo below and setting up the gofundme.*

  1. What a great idea! Let me know how much money you raise! You have such a big Instagram following!

  2. You might get more donations if you choose a charity and people know exactly where their money is going. Just a thought!
