Quarantine TV Shows - Adam Bova

As most people have been, I've been cooped up in quarantine for the past few months because of the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the few things that has come out of this quarantine is that I discovered a lot of very good TV shows. After going through series after series, I've come to find my three favorite shows during quarantine.

1. The Society
This is a Netflix show that I watched at the beginning of quarantine. It is about a group of high school students who wake up one morning to their town deserted. They are forced to find a way to survive on their own without any source of leadership. They also have to deal with the mystery of where everybody else went (or where they, themselves, went). I found that The Society was very entertaining and it always left me wondering what would happen next.

2. Outer Banks
This is also a Netflix show that was very popular over the last couple months. It is about a group of kids who live in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I don't want to spoil anything, but they discover that there is treasure hidden somewhere on the island. The show deals with their adventures and discoveries in their path to finding the treasure. Outer Banks also portrays the rivalry between the rich and poor populations on the island. I really enjoyed Outer Banks. It was suspenseful and very entertaining.

3. Friday Night Lights
This is a Hulu show that I just finished watching. It is about a high school football team and their journey to the state championship. The town of Dillon Texas is serious about their high school football. New head coach Eric Taylor has to deal with the pressure set by this town. With young quarterback, Matt Saracen, the Dillon Panthers need to find a way to get to state. I really enjoyed this show. It had the perfect balance between drama and football. Friday Night Lights was probably my favorite show that I watched during quarantine.

These were my three favorite shows during quarantine. They were all very suspenseful and always had me entertained. I think that one of the main reasons that I enjoyed them is because the protagonists are mostly high school students. This allows me to relate to the experiences that the characters go through. I would definitely recommend these shows to anyone who needs something to watch during the COVID-19 pandemic.
